7 Steps to Keep Your Marriage Hot

Updated: Dec 30, 2020

It's so easy to get caught up in an everyday routine filled with children, school activities, careers, preparing meals, holidays, appointments, household chores and everything else that we deal with in our daily lives. But despite busy schedules, married couples must make it top priority to keep their marriage Hot. Just because you are married or have been married for years does not mean the feelings you had from the beginning disappear. Keep the spark and fire burning in your marriage.

Here are 7 Steps to Keep Your Marriage Hot

1. Have Fun Together

Instead of staying in during the weekend, get a trusted babysitter and go out and enjoy yourselves. Get out of your everyday routine and do something different. Be spontaneous.

2. Give Your Spouse Time to Miss You

Give your spouse space. Being away is not a bad thing, but see it as an opportunity to reignite your love when you join back together. Consider a night out with friends or even a weekend getaway.

3. Be Adventurous

Get the adrenaline going and do something daring. This will make you feel more passionate towards each other.

4. Try New Things Sexually

Be Kinky. If you're usually not the one to initiate sex, try seducing your spouse, send seducing text messages. Play with Power. Kiss often, hug and cuddle often.

5. Put the Electronic Devices Down

Show your spouse that he/she is top priority. Strike up small talk about 15-20 minutes daily giving your spouse complete attention and phones put away. Before bedtime try cuddling and talking with no phone interruptions.

6. Schedule a Date Night

Spice it up. Dress up as if it's your first date. Remind your spouse how hot your are. Schedule date nights often and keep the fire burning baby. (wink)

7. Surprise Your Spouse

From time to time surprise your spouse with a gift. Send flowers, get tickets to an event or even leaving a love note telling them how much they mean to you. You don't have to spend a lot of money. Keep it simple and from the heart.

Remember, for a marriage to be successful, it takes two. Both parties must be willing to put in the work. You simply cannot go wrong with trying these steps to keeping your marriage hot. We all know that no marriage is perfect, but you definitely can have more good joyous days than bad. I am a witness.
